Red face Unanswered: Timeout with whacky linked table that has a trigger.

Help. I have a timeout issue while trying to update a linked record from Access to SQL Server even though I've set the Server's connection property to "Query Time-out" = 0 (no time outs). Also set Access's time-out to 300 (5 minutes). Thing is it always times out in exactly one minute. No matter what numbers I play with in the settings. Always one minute. So, what the heck is going on?

Try running PROFILER to see the activity during this process.

I did. It just shows the stored procedure tied to the table via trigger as hanging. If I run the stored procedure solo or update the table w/ trigger through query analyzer it works fine though runs for ~6:48. So, any SQL Server gurus got my solution? Still confused.
