    Unanswered: segmentation fault

    Hi,

    I am facing one problem with sqlldr.
    It doesn't give me errors but doesn't load the data either. It gives me a message that 'segmentation fault"

    Can anyone please help me out why it occurs?

    [ms6613idb5@thor ms6613idb5]$ sqlldr idb5@thor control=p01_con.ctl log=p01_log.log

    Hi

    This looks like a installation issue.

    Are you able to run sqlplus, exp/imp functions of oracle.

    Also does it dumps core when you
    $ sqlldr

    These will be steps to start with.

    Thumbs up

    Check if the controlfile is valid and the datafile it references exists and contains data.

    Also your environment could be messed up or there may be an issue with the sqlldr executable (did you try to relink it ???).

    Hope that helps,
