    Unanswered: Monitor DB Connections

Anyone aware of any commands or 3rd party utilities that can effectively monitor connections to the databases on postgresql?

    Thumbs up Log analyzer

the easiest way to monitor connector is to take a look to the logs , for better look just uses this http://www.samse.fr/GPL/pg_analyzer/
and you'll be able to see how's online !
if u r developping a binary client that connection to the databse (native connection or through ODBC) do like and just let the client send ack of connection/deconnection himself.

    Wink PgMonitor

    you can try PgMonitor.

    http://gborg.postgresql.org/project/...rojdisplay.php

Linux-based application, you can have it together with PgAccess or simply download the PgMonitor alone.

    - user access monitoring
just refer to the above link...
