Unanswered: Finding out how a table was created!

    Hi,

Some one told me that you can tell if a table was created using the "Create" command or the wizard. Can any one tell me how can you tell?

I would like to force my class to use the Create command, and I would like to find out if they did or not.

    Thanks

    Hi
Take a look at the MsysObjects table (Tools->Options...->View->System Objects), the field LvProp is initialised to 'Null' when a table is created using the CREATE TABLE syntax, and is set to non-null when table is created using the Wizard. Don't know if this is a definitive method of recognising the method of creation, but it may help you out.

    Fergal.
