Question Unanswered: Oracle analog for MS's "openquery"

    Hi,
I am a newbie in Oracle, so forgive me if the question is stupid.

In MS SQL Server one can write

select a,b,c from OPENQUERY(<definition of some OLEDB or ODBC source>) where blahblahblah

and it would return you the data from this non-ms_sql_server datasource.

I wonder if there is something similar to that in Oracle.
    TIA.
