    Unanswered: Very strange error.

    Hi,
I'm getting a very strange error in SQL 2k sp3.

Try to add a new row to a table and get the following error message:

    Server: Msg 208, Level 16, State 1, Procedure ins_84743FCD720F4E3B928FD826C218F5C4, Line 32
    Invalid object name 'tsvw_84743FCD720F4E3B928FD826C218F5C4'.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

are you adding this row via an insert or stored procedure? does the table have a trigger?

My guess would be something is corrupted. I would re-compile all views, triggers, functions and stored procedures associated with the table.

    It's to do with replication.

I had one publication on the server. Reomved it and got the following error:

    Server: Msg 18750, Level 16, State 4, Procedure ins_84743FCD720F4E3B928FD826C218F5C4, Line 26
INITCOLVS: The parameter 'nickname' is invalid.
    Server: Msg 3621, Level 16, State 1, Procedure ins_84743FCD720F4E3B928FD826C218F5C4, Line 26
    The statement has been terminated.
    The statement has been terminated.

    Ideas?

okay, this is out of my area.

if I had to venture a guess, I would check to see if table structures or attributes have changed between the publisher and subscriber.

There where no actual subscribers. I'd only just created the publisher.

    Ho hum.

    Thanks for the help.

    Re: Very strange error.

This error happens when any inconsistency occured between databases, remove the replication and redefine to overcome the issue.
