    Unanswered: Date format in Report

A few months ago I succeeded in displaying the date in a report control
    as:

    Thursday May 1, 2003

that is with the day of the week.
I can't remember what I did to make the change and now I've lost it!
    It's displaying as:

    May 1, 2003

    I lost the formatting
not only on the one form, but on all my forms!
In all of my db copies going back months!

My work computer doesn't have this problem though, using the same file!

Help file says check your Control Panel Regional Settings but I can't select a long date like Thursday May 1, 2003.

    Thanks for your help!

You are looking in the right place you need to change the long date format in regional settings to 'dddd, d MMMM yyyy'

It works fine in windows 2000. What OS are you running?

    Hi Machado,

    Thanks for your help.
    I'm using Win98.
Shortly after my post I discovered what the problem was.
If you can believe it when you change the Regional Settings to Canada you give up the long date setting that I want.
I must have changed it from American to Canadian a month or so ago.
    I have it working now.

    Eric
