Unanswered: Limit Rows in a Report

I am writing a report that contains 3 subreports. I would like to limit the detail to a total of 10 rows even though the data set may contain 40+ records.

How can I do this? I have tossed around several ideas and am at a loss.

    I am very distressed....

You could base your reports on queries and limit the result to the top 10 or what have you.

Question Forcing Page Breaks in Reports at Record Counts

I think that I need to clarify what I am trying to do. I must include all records in the report; however, there are a lot of fields that are required in subforms throughout the report. Consequently I only have room for 10 rows of the detail section. Some of the returns can have in excess of 10 rows.

To that end I am trying to determine if there is a method to force a page break when certain criteria are met. I cannot seem to figure it out.

    Thanks,

    Michael
