Unanswered: DB2 - Can logging be turned off ?

I have a D2 UDB 8.1 Data Warehouse set up and need to know if logging can be switch for table loads as commit/rollback is not an issue for us.

I know that logging can be disabled for Oracle tables and I need to know if this can be done in DB2

    Many thanks in advance

AFAIK, logging cannot be turned off ...

But there are ways to minimize logging ...

    1) LOAD utility/command ( Details in Command Ref and Data movement utilities guide and refernece)

    2) ALTER TABLE ... NOT LOGGED INITIALLY (Details in SQL Reference)

Be carefull when you use this option, if some thing happend to your table you must drop it and sometimes it is pain
