Unanswered: List history - returns no entries. Why?

    Hi,

    My system:
    DB2 v7.2 fixpack 8 for Linux S/390

    Problem:
After I execute runstats command, LIST HISTORY command returns 0 entries. Why?

    Procedure:
    1. RUNSTATS
db2 "runstats on table isq.edatum with distribution and detailed indexes all"

    Message:
DB20000I The RUNSTATS command completed successfully.

    2. LIST HISTORY
db2 list history runstats all for database isq

    Message:
    List History File for isq

Number of matching file entries = 0

Re: List history - returns no entries. Why?

I remember reading somewhere that initially there was a plan with the product developers to have runstats info in the history file ... But later, it was decided not to have this info because it is quiet likely for the history file to grow big ...

sysibm.systables - stats_time column has info on the time runstats was done on a table

    Cheers
