Unanswered: EZ way to bypass User-Level Security...?

I have just received a "secured" .mbd file. It is not "password" protected (I have the "cracks" for that). Is their a simple way to open this database file to see some of the code behind it? I have been using Access for years but never bothered using the security features. Obviously, I don't even know what I don't know... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried holding down the left shift button as you open the database?

That was the first thing I did. I then ran some of the usual password cracks but them came up blank. Evidently this database was saved as an "MDE" which contains no viewable code and is mostly uneditable. It was then physically renamed back to "MDB".
