    Unanswered: Seperate tablespaces....

    Hi,
    Shall I get any benifits if I create seperate tablespaces for indexes & actual table data.

    Yes. Disk contention will be minized apart from other things. But keep in mind you can only do this when using DMS tablespaces.

    F.Y.I.
    If you seperate indexes and table data - you can use a different bufferPool for the indexes.

    Performance should be much better.
