    Unanswered: trigger on sysprocesses

    hi,

    Is it possiable to create a tigger on sysprocess !!!

    I have developed scripts for login password standards and password ageing, now i want message to be prompted to user as soon as user login inn to change the password (if the password expire period is reached).

    Suggestion is not to create triggers on SYSTEM tables.
    If you use windows authentication and control the password expiry from OS.

    Do to bussiness requirement, most of the users are from sql mode.

    Then go for THIRD PARTY tools like ENTEGRA from LUMIGENT for Audit.

    I agree. Stay away from triggers. Stay away from modifing system tables. A new service pack can break everything.

    Even though its bit expensive by adopting ENTEGRA on my network, it helped me a lot to finding out the dodgy SQL statements and users too.
