You've posted twice and been registered 3 days. Your first post has not been answered? Is this why you say this?

a fast answer depends not only upon knowledge of people but mostly upon how easly-to-be-understood question as well.

    i think you're being a bit rude

I posted once & asked a question, but in the meantime found out the answer ( as it wasn't really hard). No-one answered me but i didn't mind.

BUT there's lots to learn from here anyway and most of the questions have been asked before so maybe peole get bored answering the same old shite.

People do get bored answering the same old shite: hence the "search" button...

But hey - I still don't think DBForums is dead...

I found this site by accident and posted a couple esoteric questions and have had no responses ... I'm certainly not angry because I've not had any luck on any other site either ... I have been helping others out as much as I can (except for the no-brainer/open the frigging docs questions) ... And I figure that sooner or later someone will have an idea for solving the problem I've posted ...

This site is definitely not dead ...

The one thing that I've found is that there are lots of forums and newsgroups one can use to find answers in. When I make a post to solve a code issue, I do it in more than one forum and generally get results. BUT, I also know that just as I seek answers, I have a responsibility to assist those who may need help (we all started a square 1). So, it's a two way street, use it or get off the road.

Hey...your answer to your question would be more easily answered if you were to post DDL, DML ,sample data, what the results should look like, and any shot you take at it.....

"Why is the sky blue" may not evoke many responses..

    What was your question again?

This is a good forum, we just all need to take the time to answer questions of other users. Just try to take the time once a week to read all posts on wich you have your own knowledge. You'll see you make this forum a better place

I registered just today and I do not think the forum is dead as it seems to be remarkably alive with intelligent discussions going on .... infact that is why I registered
