Unanswered: using odbc is slow in windows

    hi all,
i am working with VB and postgresql using ODBC. when i am running a query from pgadmin, the result came without any delay. but when i issuew the same query from VB with ODBC it is slow.(takes almost 1min.) what may be the problem. is there any thing to be set in the odbc configuration screen. what all are the meanings of so many options in the odbc configuration window. where can i get more information about each parameter settings.

    Thumbs up Ado , ???

What are u working with to interface your queries, in the Pgsl ODBC site there's a good example of how to use Pgsql ODBC , I am working with that ODBC with VB and ADO and it's going fast very fast , u should also update your odbc if it's old !
