    Unanswered: report design

    Hello,
    I have a crosstab query based report in Access 2000.

    1.Is it possible to make every other row shaded in a report?

    2.How do you add graph/chart or percent (%) to a report, which is based on the result of a query?

    p.s If you can open the word attachment with this post, it will help to what i'm trying to accomplish...

    Thanks,
    DD

    Yes it is possible to shade each row in a report.

    In the detail section of the report add the following code to the format event

    If Me.Detail.BackColor = 12632256 Then
    Me.Detail.BackColor = vbWhite
    Else
    Me.Detail.BackColor = 12632256
    End If

    For it to work properly, you need to set the backcolor of the controls in the detail section to transparent so the backcolor of the report shows through
