    Question Unanswered: Oracle Views

    Hi All

    I have written some views in oracle8i using select and where clauses.
    I have two tables which i want to link up and make a view using a common field. My view doesnt show any data upon executing in case data is missing in 2nd table even though there is data in the first table. What i want is the view should diaplay data from table a even if it cant find appropriate link in table b.

    Pls help

    Warm Regards

    Re: Oracle Views

    Use outer join in your where clause:
    table1.column1 = table1.column2(+)
