Is there a way to insert/link Access form fields into a Word document to use Word for printing out forms? ie. I have data that's retrieved from the database and other data the user enters. I need to be able to open a Word document that when opened will grab the contents of a few of these fields. I can't use a mail merge because some of the data is based off the query/table and some is not.
you can use ms query available to all office apps including word to retrieve what you want from where you want. just type: "Use Microsoft Query to retrieve data from an external data source" in ms word help for how-to
