    Unanswered: How to run 2 mysql servers

    Hi,

    I wanted to install two different mysql servers having different versions.

    But,I am finding it difficult to start both the servers.

    I am giving below my conf details.

    # Example mysql config file.
    # Copy this file to c:\my.cnf to set global options
    #
    # One can use all long options that the program supports.
    # Run the program with --help to get a list of available options

    # The MySQL server

    [mysqld_multi]
    mysqld = D:/mysql1/bin/safe_mysqld
    mysqladmin = D:/mysql1/bin/mysqladmin
    user = multi_admin
    password = multipass

    [mysqld1]
    port=3306
    skip-locking
    set-variable = key_buffer=16M
    set-variable = max_allowed_packet=1M
    set-variable = thread_stack=128K
    set-variable = flush_time=1800
    basedir = D:/mysql/
    [mysql]
    no-auto-rehash

    [mysqld]
    port=3307
    skip-locking
    set-variable = key_buffer=16M
    set-variable = max_allowed_packet=1M
    set-variable = thread_stack=128K
    set-variable = flush_time=1800
    basedir = D:/mysql1/
    [mysql1]
    no-auto-rehash
