    Unanswered: Advice on database design/structure

I'm working on a php/mysql lcd monitor database for a new site and the database structure is getting complicated and i'm not sure about the lookup tables and fields...

i outlined what i what to do and the current 'on paper' table structure and fields and output i want at http://lcdmonitorinfo.com/templates/dbtemplate2.html

anyone would like to go over the database structure and provide suggestions or advice as to better do this ?

    thanks

sometimes normalisation can go too far...

IIWM, i would remove the SIZE table and add the field into the PRODUCT table.

    1. the data for the SIZE table is a INT.
    2. how often would the size data change for a given monitor.

i understand the INTERFACE table. since the "interfacetype" column can theorertically change.

    Great Idea

I love the idea for this site. I've been looking for a good site on LCD's. I've been holding out until I find the highest quality 18" or 19" panel around, the thing is I haven't found enough high-quality information. Hope you (or that site) will be doing in-depth reviews.
