Good afternoon. Thought I would ask what is the deal with Sybase and sp_sysmon. I've noticed that even on a idle system, most of the time sp_sysmon will recommend adding additional engines online...

Is this normal or is it a bug. Better yet, what is the general thought regarding sp_sysmon and recommendations? Below is a little snapshot of what it is telling me. An idle system for the most part - everything is fine yet I see it telling me to add engines.

Anyway - thanks for any info. Thought I woudl ask. Have a good day.
