    Unanswered: Problem with exp

Oracle8i Enterprise Edition Release 8.1.6.1.0 - Production Redhat Linux 6.2

I am trying to export my database like I ushually do once a day to be extra backed up.. Today here is the error I received

About to export the entire database ...
    . exporting tablespace definitions
    EXP-00008: ORACLE error 604 encountered
ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 1
    ORA-01000: maximum open cursors exceeded
    EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully

Someone suggested that I have objects items in sys and system. I Have 4 invalid objects.

    VW_TEMP_COITEMS
    AQ$_DEQUEUE_HISTORY_T
    DBMS_PSP
    UTL_TCP

Also all my cursors are used up!

    SQL> show parameters cursors

    NAME TYPE VALUE
    ------------------------------------ ------- ------
    open_cursors integer 150
    session_cached_cursors integer 0

Does anyone know what actions I should take to get this cleared up. I need to back up this database. Thank you.

Increase the open_cursors parameter in your init.ora file:

    open_cursors=500

    Thumbs up

For AQ invalid objects - run the catalog.sql and catproc.sql scripts again. Then utlrpl.sql an the end.

Before that setup _SYSTEM_TRIG_ENABLED = FALSE in init.ora file.

    Hope that helps,
