    Red face Unanswered: Command to identify existing pipes

    Is there a command to identify pipes within an instance?

    We would like to run a purge but since we did not create the
    pipe we have no idea where to look...ELP!

    Hi

    I found these views in sys.all_objects....

    v_$db_pipes
    gv_$db_pipes

    I believe you would use

    begin
    dbms_pipe.purge( <pipename> )
    end;

    where pipename is 'NAME' from one of the above views.
