    Unanswered: combo box error

    I have a combo box that displays a list of records.
    When a user clicks on a combo box selection all the textboxes will populate with a value from the selected record of the combo box. But instead of populating the fields it gave me an error message: ““Object doesn’t support this property or method”

    I am developing in Access 2000 and using SQL Server as back-end.

    Sub Combo5_AfterUpdate()
    ' Error occurred next line
    Me.RecordsetClone.FindFirst "[ID] = " & Me![Combo5]
    Me.Bookmark = Me.RecordsetClone.Bookmark
    End Sub

    Thank you!

    check the references in you app
    from the vb window go to tools references and see if oyu have ado 2.5 or dao 3.5/3.6 checked

    the code you are using looks like dao and you references are looking for the ado object model.

    I am pretty sure this is it

    Yes, I just realized it last night. The reference library is pointing to the ADO 1.5. Thanks!
