    Unanswered: sybase groups

It is said that a user can belong to one addditional group other than the default "public". How can we see a particular user belonging to both groups ? I mean once a user is made to belong to a group other than "public", it is shown to belong to only the new group and not "public" (when a "select * on sysusers" is done.)

    Thanks a lot!

i think 1 user can be in 1 group only at a time.

so when a user is created without specifying the group at time of creation will be in public group by default...and after that if that user is assigned to a group ,it will be added in that group and subtracted from public group .

    hope this will help u
