Cool Unanswered: Version of DB2 and registering stored proceudres

    Hi,
    I have two questions.

Q1) How can i know what version of DB2 i am using e.g.

In oracle you can query v$version view to get the version.

Q2) In DB2 V4 and V5 it is must to register stored proceudres.
Is it neccessary in every version of DB2 to register stored procedures before using them. Can DB2 do it automatically.

    regds,
    Bhaskar

You have to register (or CREATE..) stored procedures. I'm not sure how that would happen "automatically".
