    Question Unanswered: Thin Client

    Hi,
    I have a strange problem:
I work with thin client workstation.
All the tools work from there (Control Center, CLP), but command center refuses to work.
On the server it works. From my (and others) workstation it doesn't.
    Any idea ?

The truth is that i didn't find one till now.
But we found that if we put the shared library (SQLLIB) in read/write it worsk.
I don't understand what the client tries to write there.
Even in the installation guide it's written that the library is supposed to be in read only

    Re: Thin Client

Please bear with me, db2 thin client installation is alien to me ...

The command line processor on Windows is implemented different from Unix ... This is because these OS handle parent-child processes/threads differently ... More details in the command reference ...

Well, coming to your question, what the clp writes to sqllib ?
Whenever you invoke a command line processor, writes information to a file called db2clp.dat located in the sqllib directory .... I assume that the information is used to link the parent-child process in db2clp ...

    HTH

    Cheers

Yes, i saw that, but it wasn't changed for almost a month...
I realy don't find a file that was changed today, and that is relevant (in my opinion) to the Command Center
