    Arrow Unanswered: Last committed transactions

    OS: AIX 5.0.0.1
    DB2: v7.2

Is there anyway to find what was the last committed transaction time?

    Hi dollar,

yes, sort of: You could use a sql statement monitor. I doubt this is of much use to you. Unfortunately, I know of no other option and I don't think there is one.

Thanks, I know there aren't too many options. The application is written poorly with no explict commits and I wanted to find out if database does any internal commits and when and how to find them.

    Hi,

PLs take a complete database snapshot and go through the output, you will get the last committed time value for each connection

    Thanks
