    Unanswered: multiple users in multiple tablespaces

    Hi,
    now I have 4 instances oracle (db1, db2, db3, db4) with 1 user=tom, password=tom
    I'd like to create just one instance db1 with 4 users (tom, tom1, tom2, tom3) in 4 tablespaces.

    Is correct this?

    I exported the istances and after:

    connect system/manager@db1
    CREATE TABLESPACE tb1 DATAFILE tb01.dbf' SIZE 2500M REUSE DEFAULT STORAGE
    (INITIAL 1024 NEXT 1024 MINEXTENTS 1 MAXEXTENTS 256 PCTINCREASE 0) ONLINE;

    CREATE USER tom1 IDENTIFIED BY tom1 DEFAULT TABLESPACE tb1 TEMPORARY TABLESPACE TEMP;

    connect system/manager@db2
    CREATE TABLESPACE tb2 DATAFILE tb02.dbf' SIZE 2500M REUSE DEFAULT STORAGE
    (INITIAL 1024 NEXT 1024 MINEXTENTS 1 MAXEXTENTS 256 PCTINCREASE 0) ONLINE;

    CREATE USER tom2 IDENTIFIED BY tom2 DEFAULT TABLESPACE tb1 TEMPORARY TABLESPACE TEMP;

    ---------------------------------------------------------------
    ---------------------------------------------------------------

    but if this is correct my tablespace TEMP must be very very large.

    Can I create a new tablespace TEMP (TEMP1, TEMP2, .....)??

    Thanks
    Raf

    create user tom1 identified by <pwd> default tablespace <default_tablespace> temporary tablespace temp1;

    create user tom2 identified by <pwd> default tablespace <default_tablespace> temporary tablespace temp2;

    ...

    create user tom4 identified by <pwd> default tablespace <default_tablespace> temporary tablespace temp4;

    grant connect, resource to tom1, tom2, ..., tom4;
