Red face Unanswered: Union Query generates "Internal SQL Server Error"

I've got a union query that combines four other queries. I just recently changed the underlying queries to different syntax, but left the number of columns the same. I can only run two of these queries with a union statement and if I try to add the other two in any combination I get the "Internal sql server error." I've loaded the union query into the Query analyzer and it runs just fine, but when I run it through the GUI, Access2K, or on the web, ASP, I get this error. I've tested the queries individually and they all work properly. What could be the problem? I've only change the underlying design of the unioned queries, nothing else.

    Thank you,

    Jerry

Thanks Satya, but this article doesn't help me figure out why this is happening. I'm up to date on service packs.
