I'm having several rather annoying problems calling Oracle stored procedures in a web app I'm working on.

I use the following general syntax in calling the procs and setting up parameters.

set cmd = server.CreateObject("ADODB.Command")
with cmd
.ActiveConnection = aConn
.CommandText = "{CALL get_id_sp(?)}"
.CommandType = adCmdText
end with

cmd.Parameters.Append cmd.CreateParameter("in_id",adNumeric,adParamInput ,10,id)

Several questions:
1) What is the syntax for the .CommandText for calling a proc that takes no arguments?

2) I have run across many problems passing in variables of adNumeric data type (these are declared as Number in the proc). In some cases it works if I change the code to create the parameter on the ASP page as adInteger and cast the value to CInt. For the most part it does not work.

3) I have also run across many problems passing in date parameters that are declared as type Date in the proc and adDate on the ASP page. Passing them in as adDate does not work. Is there any way to pass these dates in? (other than passing them in as adVarChar and modifying all the procs to accept VarChar2 and then convert to date in the proc code?)
