Unanswered: Monitorig remote DB on os390 through DB2 Client
I try o find a way to monitor the DB which our developers work on.
I want them to have the possibility to see what locks they have (in a case they get -911) and what connections there are on the DB.
For local DB (on NT) there is the "GET SNAPSHOT…", but for rmote DB I can't do it. It's just don't recognize the DB name. The command : "GET SNAPSHOT FOR APLLICATIONS ON DISTDB" returns: "SQL1013N The database alias name or database name "" could not be found. SQLSTATE=42705". When I do the same with a local DB name it works well.
Does anyone know how can I do that ?
Is there another ways to allow the developers those options ? I must say that they cannot enter the MF…
