I have a combo-box in a subform, so that the user can choose multiple items and have all the choices show in a list. Each row currently shows only the ID and short text for each item. I would like to also have a small button on each row that would allow the user to click it and see more info about that item. Do the items that show on each row of a combo box have to be text only, or can it be another object (like a button)?
Using an Access combo box control you can only display text on each row. You might be able to find an ActiveX control that gives you the functionality that you want, I'm not sure. Putting a button alongside the data in a combo box seems to be slightly counter intuitive to me (in terms of a user interface).
