Question Unanswered: Connect to DB2 OS390 from Windows

    Hello,

I'm new here and I've got a very simple question I guess.

I need to connect to a DB2 database running on OS390 from Visio2000 (running on Windows w2k). So I think I only need an ODBC Driver for DB2, am I right ?
Where can I get such a driver ? Is it free ?

    thank you
    bye

DB2 Connect provides a ODBC driver ... But you will have to pay for it ...

There are other vendors who provide similar solution at a cheaper cost ..

Can you tell me what are the cheaper solutions ?

Aren't there any free ODBC driver or any others free solutions ?

I don't know of any free solutions ..

Data-direct and hitsoftware are the ones I know of ...

Search for os390 db2 odbc on google and you will find quiet a few matches ..

    Cheers
