Unanswered: Is it possible to re-enable the sa account?

I were requested by the security department in our company to enable "password expiry" and "max failed logins" for our sybase server. My question is, what happens if the sa account get disabled due to these settings, is there any way to re-activate it presuming no other users are having sa_role kind of privileges?

It is a good idea to have at least 1 login either sa or preferably sso_role without any login triggers on it. At the end of the day, if ever you get locked out you could at least get back into the server using the -p switch in the RUN file. -p only works for active sso login and not for the locked/expired ones.

    Cheers

-p in RUN_file is for resetting password. Use -u instead to reset password.

And the ASE doesn't disable the last login with the SSO role... it's a security
