Unanswered: Store CPU usage and memory usage in SQL

    Hi!

I wonder if there is any way to get the current CPU usage and memory usage from the current server, and store it in a table?

You could use the xp_cmdshell stored procedure to shell out to the operating environment to get the data you want. Far as I know, there is no way to get this directly from SQL server.

Remember that you can track this in the SQL Server Monitor application too!

Sorry. Ask your systems guru if there is a way to get the data you want from a command prompt or a utility you could run from the command prompt.
