    Question Unanswered: changing DB2 connect port

    Hi
    I have DB2 Connect EE installed on W2K server.
    There is a system monitoring application running on the server (and can't be uninstalled or changed) that uses port 50000. Does anyone know how to change the DB2 Connect port?

    In the file "service" under winnt\system32\drivers\etc is the connection (i think) between service name and port number.
    I think that connection is defined during the installation.
    U can try change it in the file, maybe that will work...

    If u do "get dbm cfg" from CLP you can see the service name (under SVCNAME. Here it's db2cDB2), and change the relevant.

    You can do it also through the control cente.
