Unanswered: OLAP integration server desktop error-Immediate help required

    Hi,
I've installed the OLAP Starter kit which I downloaded from IBM.When I start the OLAP integration server desktop,it gives me the following error

    [Wed Jul 09 10:59:16 2003]Local/Sample///Info(1002035)
Starting Essbase Server - Application [Sample]

    [Wed Jul 09 10:59:16 2003]Local/Sample///Info(1200478)
Can not load JVM from location in essbase.cfg [E:\Program], OS status [126]. Will try to load from library path.

    [Wed Jul 09 10:59:16 2003]Local/Sample///Info(1200479)
JVM load failed, info [jvm.dll], OS status [126]

    [Wed Jul 09 10:59:16 2003]Local/Sample///Warning(1200477)
Can not load JVM. UDF functionality disabled.

Initially, there was no java folder in my ARBORPATH(E:\Program Files\SQLLIB\essbase).According to the Hyperion Essbase documentation,if the files do not already exist,we need to create the following empty files
    essbase.jar
    essbase.dtd
    parser.jar
    jaxp.jar
    essbase.cfg

The content of the essbase.cfg file is
    JVMMODULELOCATION E:\Program Files\SQLLIB\essbase\java\jre\bin\classic\jvm.dll

I did so but it did not make a difference.I installed jdk 1.3 in the java directory of essbase and added the jar files required for JAXP envt in the lib folder. But I'm getting the same error.
Could anybody give me a helping hand??
    Thanks !!

Seems to me, essbase is having trouble locating files in the directory whose name contains a space in it. Try enclosing path name in quotes in the configuration file. Alternatively, you can replace "Program Files" part with its short variant, which you can determine by issuing "dir /x c:\" at the command prompt.

    Hope this helps.

Well, following what u suggested,I re-installed DB2(Had to!!....the application crashed!!) in a directory without spaces but i'm still getting the same error
If u visit the following url,
    http://www.developer.ibm.com/tech/fa...ap,00.html#q19

    u'll find the following suggestion:

How am I to solve the error message "Can not find [directory] [/export/home/arbor7sk/sqllib/essbase/java/], required to load JVM."?

A: Since the IBM DB2 OLAP Starter Kit includes functions that require Java, take the following steps to correct this error:
Log on as the DB2 instance owner.
Find the directory in which you installed the DB2 OLAP Starter Kit. The default name for this directory is essbase.
In the essbase directory, create a subdirectory called java.
In the java subdirectory, create the following empty files:
    essbase.jar
    essdefs.dtd
    jaxp.jar
    parser.jar
    udf.policy

I did this but no use :-(
    Any ideas???

Right now,i figured that the Essbase server recognizes the JVM but throws the following error

    [Thu Jul 10 15:38:05 2003]Local/Sample///Info(1002035)
Starting Essbase Server - Application [Sample]

    [Thu Jul 10 15:38:05 2003]Local/Sample///Error(1200442)
    Java Virtual Machine error

    [Thu Jul 10 15:38:06 2003]Local/Sample///Error(1200000)
