Question Unanswered: Data encryption on OS/390

Hi, Can anyone please assist with information on ways to encrypt data in a user table on OS/390?
We are running version 7 of DB2 on OS/390 and require to encrypt a column in one table so that SPUFI selects cannot see the actual data.

We also require to still be able to use DSN1COPY on this table to copy data from backups on other databases to this database.

    Thanks in advance
    Mike

    Mike,

give a look at the new "Data Encryption Tool":
    http://www-3.ibm.com/software/data/d...bmencrypt.html

If tools are not an issue, try creating a view without this column and just GRANT access through this view for your users.

db2/390 will prove built-in function for data encryption.
For v7, you have to use some utility tools
