Red face Unanswered: DB2 service and LDAP service auto start on linux

    DB2 auto starts on linux

I am setting up a service for the LDAP server that uses db2.

    I created the script /etc/init.d/ldap

I used chkconfig --add ldap to configure the service.

/etc/init.d/ldap start and stop function correctly.

    This is the config

    chkconfig: 5 98 16

Start at run level 5 using start priority number 98 and stop priority number 16.

Although upon reboot the ldap service claimes to be [OK] all clients fail to connect to the LDAP server.

Anyone with experience doing this know what is going wrong?

    /etc/init.d/ldap attached to this message.
