    Unanswered: db2 v7 z/os vargraphic

we have a few columns defined with the vargraphic attribute. when we try to recreate the tables we get a -879 because our sybsystems are defined with mixed data = no. Is there another way to do this? Do we have to chage our subsystems to mixed data = yes?
    Thanks,
    Bob

yes, you need mixed data = no, and valid dbcs ccsid for your encoding schema

DB2 won't check such thing when you create the table.
