Server -> OS/390 DB2 - IBM DB2 UDB V7.1.1
DB2 Connect -> Windows NT - IBM DB2 UDB CONNECT V8.1 SP2
Client -> Windows NT - IBM DB2 UDB V8.1 SP 2

Microsoft Access gives me error below when I try link tables from DB2:

[IBM][CLI Drivers][DB2] SQL0440N No authorized routine named "SQLTABLES" of type "" having compatible arguments was found. SQLSTATE=42884

Actually I am having some kind of problems with almost every client software after upgrading to V8.1 - except IBM DB2 Client Tools (for example Command Center).

Other programs (Microsoft Query, Informatica, Brio, Database Explorer in NetBeans or Forte for Java) that used to work with client libraries V7 either fail to load or do not let me browse database schema as they used to before.

The problem exists on every server/workstation with that configuration (I have 5 of them so far)

I had different problems with V7.1 client libraries and "BEA Web Logic"/Java/Web application - after tests V8.1 was the only choice and it runs without "DB2 Connect" Crash for month now - the price is incompatibility? with software...
