I am creating a document system, in which I am using CLOBs a lot.
I have a case in the same, where I could have multiple revisions of the document, and I want to maintain the differences or revisions of the document.
But since the CLOBs I am using could range from 40Kb to 1Mb, it would be a waste of space in DB to store multiple copies of the document.
Does anyone understand the concern I have, and if yes, do u know of solutions, where I could store like "differences" or "deltas" between documents, and then recombine the deltas to create a master document.
(reference the way Clearcase or CVS works)
