    Unanswered: performance data

    Hi,
I am looking for the DB2 (8) performance data. Oracle has it in its system table. Does the DB2 store performance data in tables. If so which are these tables?

    Thanks

    Re: performance data

    It doesn't in tables ...

But you can use SQL to collect the data using the snapshot table functions ... Have a look at the Snapshot monitoring guide and reference ...

One More question. Can we fetch the Configuration Data ( like the out put of GET DATABASE CONFIGURATION ) through SQL?

    Thanks

    I don't think you can, AFAIK ...

But, at the thought of it, doesn't seem to be a bad idea to get it into a Java/C UDF ...

    Cheers
