    Unhappy Unanswered: Memory goes to hell

    Hey, ververybody ,

    I have a big big Prob. , I have a server with 1 Mb memory and RH9 linux and Postgresql , with feeds about 70 clients , the fact is that evry time a query is about the server the memry goes down and down, without refresh eveb if the client disconnect ! have u and idea ? I use The lst ODBC driver and the Last Postgresql 7.3.3 !

    shared memory

    is there an apache server on this server where postgres runs or something else which uses shared memory??

    No , only postgres , et it's secondary processes are working !

    try to set this queries directly on the server maybe the interface makes a problem or something like that.

    At the server Itself , it's ok, but when deamling with Tcp/Ip connections (ODBC clients) the memory stats to go down !
