    hi yaya,

    U can create a db link then use a trigger to insert the values u need to the database u need using this dblink.

    CREATE DATABASE LINK db_linkname
    CONNECT TO username IDENTIFIED BY password
    USING 'DBNAME';

    Test the dblink by:

    SELECT * FROM anytable@db_linkname;

    Use trigger to insert into this table sing the dblink.

    Give it a try ,pls let me know.

    U can configer a replication enviornment so to make both the databases upto date.

    U can use OEM to Configer the Replication enviornment.

    U can create links in both if u need data transfer from both.

    CRON JOBS

    Hi
    I am not fully sure of the solution I am writing, but couldnt CRON the job, and use triggers.
    What the cronjob would probably do is insert or update a row in an UPDATE table, and this would trigger off the routine.

    Any ideas ... andrewst.
    Thanx and Regards
