    Unanswered: db2 error

    Hi,
I am getting an SQL0803N error which states that One or more values in the INSERT statement, UPDATE statement, or foreign key update caused by a DELETE statement are not valid because the primary key, unique constraint or unique index identified by “1” constrains table “SDE.TABLE_REGISTRY” from having duplicate rows for those columns. SQLSTATE=23505.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    asasidar

Go to thread on "READ ME: Usefull DB2 Stuff" and find link for DB2 manuals. You need to read about Referential Integrity and how it works.

You also should read the thread at the top called:

"Read Me: Must Read before posting"

In that thread you would find the following:

    • Create a concise subject that adequately summarizes your topic.

"db2 error" is not a concise subject since 90% of the threads deal with DB2 errors. Thanks.
