    Unanswered: clustering in db2

I am using windows 2000 professional to run my db2 EEE 7.2 in a partitioned environment.

I would like to perform clustering on both my machines -> node 0 and node 1. In the manual they say that I need windows NT 4.0 Enterprise Edition or higher with MSCS installed.

Please tell me if this is possible in windows 2000 professional or do I necessarily need Windows 2000 Sever edition or NT enterprise edition.

Your prompt reply would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Re: clustering in db2

    Hi there,

I am just setting up a cluster myself, To use the Microsoft clustering you need Windows 2000 Advanced (for 2 nodes clustered) or Datacentre (4 nodes clustered)

Don't think you can use Windows 2000 prof. but you might be able to use a 3rd party clustering software
