    Unhappy Unanswered: DB2 load space

    Hello,

There is a "NOT NULL" field in my DB2 database. However, the data for this column in the data file is a "space", and DB2 treats it as null and prompt error message.

How can we import "space" as "space" (rather than null) to DB2?

    Pls help!!

Are you using the NULL INDICATORS option for the import?

If space is valid data, you could also define the column as NOT NULL WITH DEFAULT.

    Please check ...
This KEEPBLANKS option is only for DEL files ...
and NULL INDICATORS options is only for ASC files
