Unanswered: DB2 v8 ODBC setup on linux

    Dear tech,

Anyone have experience of db2 ODBC setup on linux?
I could not find it in db2 manuals. I need a step by step hint.
Do I have to install 3rd party ODBC driver manager?
    Any response is highly appreciated.

    Best Regards,

    Jimmy Yu

You do not need one ...

I do not have any db2 doc to confirm this ... But the post clearly explains how to use db2 odbc driver without a driver manager ...

Go to groups.google.com and search for "ODBC driver for DB2 on AIX" enclosed within double quotes ... You will get back one result and that thread should explain very clearly how to set up the db2 odbc driver/driver-manger

    Cheers
